A STROLL, A RAMBLE, A TRUDGE..gardening in Vermont..an old gardener looking for new tricks while moving from the purely floral to jabbing at sustainability via vegetables and fruits.
I will be very interested to see how tomatillos do in your area. Once they get going they do pretty well, but do need a fair bit of sunshine. That big yellow thing is the sun Randy. I had it sent your way, of course I had to trade it in for some rain. :)
Hi Randi - looks like you're about a week ahead of us in the NEK. I've not juiced black currants, but we really like black currant vinegar, and it's really easy.
Hay! Good idea, goodidea. I shall give the vinegar a try, sounds delicious. And, yes, I suppose I ought to count my blessings down here but sheesh, compared to EVERYONE else we really creep along, don't we?
Yeah, by the time we get all excited about having the first ripe whatever, it's old news in the gardening blogosphere...
