Euchaetes egle, I presume
aka milkweed tussock caterpiller or milkweed tiger moth...........in any event some serious munchitation is taking place....no frost yet but there's a nip in the air, leaves begin to turn and chore lists shift to autumn mode.

They look very happy, I hope that's not one of your fruit trees they are munching away on.
ha! these guys went to town on a milkweed. I leave a few few milkweed plants hither and thither puposefully to attract pollinators.
